A Letter From Rafiki Teachers Institute Uganda

The Rafiki Teachers Institute offers Christ-centered, liberal arts teacher development on the beautiful campus of the Rafiki Foundation, in Wakiso Town outside Kampala. 

Options for study at RTI include a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education.

In RTI’s programs, students do not specialize in certain teaching subjects. Instead all pursue a broad education in the classical European tradition, including math, science, language arts, history, theology, art, and music. In addition to becoming well educated themselves, our students learn how to teach pupils any of these subjects, in public or private schools, for the glory of God. Most importantly, each day student-teachers participate in a vibrant Bible study, learning to follow the Lord in all they do.

We share grounds with the Rafiki Education System’s (please add link) Ugandan demonstration day school, the Rafiki Classical Christian School, where our student-teachers practice their new skills.
